Elections

Elections are the democratic heart of eDominations! Every month, citizens vote to choose their leaders. You can view election results for any country by selecting the election type and month.

Election Schedule

Country President

Powers

• Propose and sign Laws
• Start battles in declared wars
• Manage the national treasury
• Set taxes and economic policies
• Create and manage alliances
• Appoint cabinet members

Requirements

• Be a member of a Political Party
• Be nominated by Party President on the 4th of each month
• Party must be in TOP 5 parties in the country
• Party pays 1000 CC nomination fee
• Experience Level 15 or higher to vote

How Elections Work

1. Party Presidents nominate candidates on the 4th
2. Elections held on the 5th
3. All citizens vote for their preferred candidate
4. Candidate with most votes wins
5. Winner becomes CP for one month and receives President Medal + 5 Gold

Congress

Powers

• Vote on proposed laws
• Approve or reject:
  • Declare War
  • Natural Enemy
  • Citizenship applications
  • Donation proposals
  • Tax changes

How to Run

1. Be nominated by your Party as a Congress candidate
2. Elections held on the 15th
3. Number of seats depends on party support
4. Top candidates from each party win seats

Party President

Powers

• Nominate presidential candidates (on the 4th)
• Nominate congress candidates
• Manage party membership
• Set party direction and policies

Requirements

• Be a member of the Party
• Experience Level 15 or higher to vote
• Can apply any day before the 25th

How Elections Work

1. Apply for Party President position
2. Elections held on the 25th
3. Only party members can vote
4. Candidate with most votes wins
5. If only one candidate, they need at least 1 vote to be elected
6. Winner leads the party for one month

Judge Elections

Powers

• Start trials against citizens
• Issue 50% Damage Debuff (30 days)
• Issue 10x Higher Tax (30 days)

Requirements

• Experience Level 35 or higher
• Pay 30 Gold (refunded if elected)
• Cannot be in any political position or party
• Apply on 1st of month, elections on 2nd
• Need 75% approval to win

Viewing Results

To view election results:

1. Go to Elections page
2. Select the election type (President, Congress, Party)
3. Select the month
4. Select the country (if viewing another nation)
